With summer holidays on the horizon, here comes a survey showing that nearly three out of four Canadian workers did not use all of their allotted vacation time last year. More specifically, the results reveal that 54% of workers used only part of their vacation in 2022 and 17% didn’t take any vacation at all.
According to this survey, carried out by Maru Public Opinion for ADP Canada, more Canadians used all of their allotted vacation time last year than in 2021 (29% versus 27%), and that percentage seems to be heading back towards pre-pandemic levels; in 2019, it was around 50%.
Most Canadian workers get between two and six weeks of vacation time.
