Our History

Beginning under the Eaton Bay Financial banner in 1971 our award winning DFSIN Financial Centre has evolved into an operation with over 75 advisors, 4000 clients and close to $1 Billion in assets under management. In 1985, our centre partnered up with the independent distribution network affiliated with Desjardins, Canada’s largest cooperative founded in 1901. Desjardins’s core belief in the dignity of their clients and partners was conducive to the beliefs and practices of our advisors. Our core beliefs, our integrated product offering and the strength and stability of one of Canada’s largest financial institutions will ensure our history will continue.
